Hi, I'm Greta, that's me in the middle with my husband Charlie and next to us are our two little boys Sol & Marlo and our wonder dog Hunter (she is a girl by the way). If I am not behind my camera or computer you will find me at the beach swimming, watching Charlie surf, occasionally trying to surf myself, chasing the boys around with sunblock or trying to stop Hunter from stalking birds. I am addicted to buying design and cook books, I spend far too much time on Instagram, I love eating out and if I don't get to leave the country and explore at least one time a year I can go a little crazy.
I studied photography and design and spent majority of my career in the fashion industry where I worked as a Buyer and Brand Manager. My career in fashion gave me so many opportunities to develop creatively. The skills I picked up producing and designing ranges, directing fashion shoots, managing garment production and traveling all over the world sourcing product and ideas for each season are all part of the skill set I now apply to my photography. I go into each shoot with a clear vision and the ability to see what needs to be achieved both creatively and commercially.
I adore shooting "real-life" and working in the beauty and unpredictability of natural light. I also thrive on meeting new people, visiting new places and documenting the life and love I find there.
I am based in Auckland and I work as a freelance photographer on a variety of projects including editorial, creative weddings, fashion and lifestyle photography. I travel (often) all over New Zealand, Australia, The Pacific Islands, Bali and further abroad to where ever I am needed. All locations and assignments considered...
